Myofascial Therapy is a combination of myofascial techniques, connective tissue massage, advanced deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and assisted sports massage stretching techniques. I work to release restrictions in the fascial system that can affect normal function of muscles, joints, and nerve bundles. Myofascial therapy is the missing link in pain relief and postural improvement in massage therapy today. It is very effective in treating chronic pain conditions, chronic injuries, limited flexibility/range of motion, and fibromyalgia. This therapy is not utilized by most massage therapists and is on the cutting edge of massage today.

- If you are frustrated with not getting long-lasting results from your current massage therapy and not feeling the effects of the work being done in your muscles, I might just have the massage treatment that you have been looking for. For the past 15 years, I have gotten referrals from MD`s, Doctors of Chiropractic, and previous clients, because I get results with problem conditions and injuries of muscles and connective tissue. Often I can get results within 3-5 treatments. Chronic conditions can take up to 8-10 treatments unless there is a more serious underlying medical problem. I generally schedule one hour once a week initially for the first three weeks. In some cases we schedule two half-hour sessions a week for optimum results. A maintenance treatment is generally every 4 – 6 weeks for the best preventive results. I take on any type of muscular/connective tissue problem from low back pain to neck pain. I have gotten very good results with shoulder and knee pain over the years. I work with many marathon runners, golfers, and tennis players providing preventive massage with excellent results. I do prefer to work on someone preventively before an injury occurs.
